Frantisek Kyncl

Frantisek Kyncl (1934 - 2011) was active/lived in Czech Republic.  Frantisek Kyncl is known for Mixed-media geometric abstrct painting.

Artist František Kyncl ranks among the most important Czech constructivists. Studying at the University, he graduated in 1957. In 1968, he was a Kyncl allowed a study trip to Austria, after which, however, he could no longer returned to Bohemia, so he decided to emigrate to Germany Düsseldorf.

He graduated from the local Academy of Fine Arts and soon became part of the Düsseldorf art scene. He published in Germany magazine Schwarz auf Weiss (Black on White), which was devoted to Czech independent and exile art scene. Under the influence of constructivism began in the 1970s to create three-dimensional objects assembled from skewers or bamboo sticks into geometric shapes such as a square, triangle or circle.

Spatial structures gradually since the late 1980s confuses with drawings in which interconnected points dominate creating regular networks. The point becomes the central motif Kyncl's works.
